Armando has decided long ago that he couldn’t sit idle and watch the climate emergency go unchecked. He has an M.Sc. in Global Environmental Change Management (in Germany) that completes his B.A. in Human Geography (in Italy). In the past he researched on and advocated for stronger climate policies and sustainable food systems.
With community-shared solar, he’s excited that solar energy can finally be brought to the scale we need and drastically reduce CO2 emissions. Armando’s been part of Neighborhood Sun from the beginning and directly or indirectly facilitated enrollments of about 2500 households across Maryland. He also manages new business development opportunities, partnering with communities and solar companies to enable new projects to come to fruition.
When not working he can be spotted gardening in the yard, basking in the sun (what a surprise!), swimming, playing board games, and hiking or biking in the great outdoors.
