Neighborhood Sun is on a mission to make clean, affordable energy accessible to ALL– not just the select few. 

Incorporated as a Public Benefit Corporation in the state of Maryland in 2016, our company was founded to generate a public good by making clean energy equitable, accessible, and affordable through community solar.

As a community solar aggregator, we help connect community solar farm developers with community members local to the project in need of solar savings. We do through strong ties with local community leaders, non-profit organizations, value-driven businesses, and faith groups, as well as an incredibly loyal and dedicated subscriber base of solar advocates. 

We’re proud to be a Certified B Corporation since 2017, with one of the highest scores in our industry, and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
