This DC community solar project is located atop the two Robinson Apartments buildings in Southeast DC and was constructed by local installer, Ipsun Solar. Situated next to the St. Elizabeth Hospital, these newly constructed apartment buildings will each have approximately 150 solar panels on their roofs.
Anyone who pays a Pepco DC electric bill can subscribe to this roof-top solar farm and start saving money on their electricity, all while making DC a greener community!
A recent electric bill is necessary to connect your community solar subscription to our utility account. Either electronic or paper copies are acceptable.
You can start your subscription with a bank account, credit card, or debit card. We do not charge you until the community solar farm is turned on and generating electricity for your subscription.
This step is only required for those who may qualify for the S.H.A.R.E.™ program for low- to moderate-income residents. Examples include Medicaid card, EBT, and SNAP card.
