Here are a couple things to consider before you go:
If you’re canceling because you’re moving or getting solar panels, we encourage you to speak to our care specialist first. We might be able to accommodate your evolving needs so you can keep saving with community solar.
Review your community solar contract in the MySolar portal before canceling to make sure you understand the cancellation terms and details.
Please keep in mind that it can take between 60-90 days to process a cancellation depending on the electric utility provider. Trust us, if we could make cancellations immediate, we would, but the timeline entirely depends on the utilities, not us.

Still want to cancel? Here’s how it works:
You submit this form to let us know you want to cancel.
We mark you inactive in our SunEngine(TM) platform so you will stop getting new community solar credits. You will, however, still be charged for credits you have already received but not yet paid for.
We submit all cancellations from the month to the utilities so they know to stop adding new community solar credits to your utility bills.
Each utility processes these cancellations on a specific date of their choosing. For example, if your utility processes cancellations on the 10th of each month and you submit our cancellation form on the 11th of the month. Your utility won’t process the cancellation until the 10th of the following month. This is part of the reason it can take up to 90 days for your cancellation to take effect, depending on your utility. The other reason it takes a while to stop being charged for credits is due to the 3-month structure of most billing cycles. You might keep seeing charges for your community solar credits up to a few months after canceling because you have already used that energy and the credits by the time you cancel and are just being charged for them at a delay.
