Upload Income Verification for S.H.A.R.E.™ Program

You’re almost finished getting your Community Solar share and saving potentially hundreds of dollars on your electricity.  To finish the process, the Public Service Commission and Board of Public Utilities requires community solar companies to collect proof that a customer qualifies for our SHARE program.

Please upload one (1) of the following forms of acceptable documentation:

Maryland-Approved Documents

  • Paystub
  • W2
  • Previous Year’s Tax Return (up to first 2 pages)
  • Social Security Notice of Annual Payout
  • Documentation of affordable housing residency as long as Housing Authority certifies that 85% of residents qualify as low- income
  • EmPOWER Maryland
  • Electric Universal Service Program (EUSP)
  • Fuel Fund of Maryland
  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance program (LIHEAP)
  • MD Energy Assistance Program (MEAP)
  • Free and Reduced Meals – Reduced meals
  • Free and Reduced Meals – Free Meals
  • HeadStart
  • Medicaid
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

  • Universal Service Fund
  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance program (LIHEAP)
